The FFSS1 is a cast stainless steel, free float steam trap that has been particularly designed for various capacities and applications up to 21 barG functioning based on different density between steam and con-densate.Also, a thermostatic element insures safe air vent. The unit is available with either screwed, socket welded or flanged connections.
① Self-modulating free float provides continus, smooth low velocity condensate discharge as process loads vary ② Condensate level upper than the seat together with 3-point seating ensures tight sealing under no-load conditions ③ Suitable for pressurized outlet condensate lines. ④ Fast startup with thermostatic bimetal air vent. ⑤ Only one moving part provides a long service life.
* Flange Weight of the traps are based on ASME B16.5 for class 600.
1. Differential pressure is the difference between the upstream and downstream Pressure of the trap.
2. Capacities are based on continues discharge of condensate 6'c below saturated steam temperature.
3. Considering of suitable safety factor is recommended.
DO NOT use this product under conditions that exceed maximum differential pressure, as condensate backup will occur!
Specification
1:Maximum pressure that the shell of the steam trap can withstand permanently at a given temperature.
2:Maximum temperature which the shell of the steam trap can be raised permanently at a given pressure.
NOTE To avoid abnormal operation, accidents or serious injury, DO NOT use this product outside of the specification range.
